About the Role

To actively promote the Mission of the School “Live, Love, Learn and Celebrate with Jesus”.
To promote and uphold the school’s aims, ethos and values.
To be an excellent classroom practitioner.
To encourage children to strive for high standards in their work and behaviour.
To foster and maintain good relationships within the classroom and in the school in general, that will encourage positive social awareness, responsibility and interaction
To plan appropriate lessons to ensure that all children are challenged.
To teach the children following whole school approaches and marking and feedback policy.
To use new technologies as an integral part of learning provision.
To ensure standards of Religious Education, English and Maths are consistently in line in foundation subjects.
 

Personal Qualities

An understanding of safeguarding practice and procedure. 
A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and a commitment to the highest standards of care, teaching and learning.
Knowledge of the Upper Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice.
Knowledge and understanding of pupil progression across key stages of education.
Understanding of professional responsibility in relation to school policies and practices.
